About the quest
A free, friendly place to explore how Judaism and Christianity differ, and why Judaism holds the beliefs it does.
Why this site exists
Many people grow up hearing only one side of the big questions: Who is God? Who is the Messiah? How are we forgiven? This site walks through those questions with the Hebrew Bible open, in short, clear lessons anyone can finish in five minutes.
It is a work of Jewish apologetics: a reasoned explanation of Jewish belief. It is never an attack. Christian beliefs are described the way Christians describe them, with their own key verses, so you can compare fairly.
How to use the trail
- One stop at a time. Each lesson is 750 words or fewer, split into short steps.
- Read or listen. Press “Listen to this lesson” to hear it read aloud, and use the Aa button for bigger text, focus mode, a reading ruler, or dark colors.
- Take the three-minute quiz. Any score unlocks three printables for that stop.
- Print and keep going. Summaries, quiz sheets, and coloring pages make great family and classroom tools.
Our approach
- We read verses in context and check the Hebrew. That's the CLUE toolkit from Stop 1.
- We quote classic Jewish teachers such as Rashi and Maimonides, and the New Testament where Christian belief is explained.
- Verse numbers follow most English Bibles. Hebrew Bibles sometimes differ by a verse.
- Hebrew text writes God's name as ה׳, a traditional sign of respect that also keeps printables safe to recycle.
Meet the voice of Netiva
Netiva, whose name means “path” in Hebrew, is our animated trail guide. She is voiced by Julia, the creator of this site, who records every line in her own studio. Until a recording is ready, your browser's built-in voice reads Netiva's lines.
A note on guidance
This site shares a Jewish perspective for learning and reflection. For personal questions of faith or practice, we warmly encourage you to talk with a rabbi you trust.
